Opis

The SME Instrument is one of the many programmes of the Horizon 2020 - the biggest European Union’s research and innovation funding programme ever, aimed at securing Europe's global competitiveness. Horizon 2020 started in the beginning of 2014 and will run until the end of 2020, with a budget of over 79 billion EUR. A great innovation idea is not enough to win. An excellent project proposal is essential. In order to prepare one, most winners rely on expensive outsourced EU proposal experts. This means that organisations, that already have funding, also have the best chances to succeed. But it should be exactly the opposite. The EU funds should support those projects that cannot be realized due to lack of or insufficient funding. We decided to change this and give everybody a fair opportunity. This is how the H2020 Manuals were born, where we share our knowledge and make it accessible to a larger public at just a fraction of the regular cost. In this way we can help more great ideas succeed and we give an opportunity to all those, who cannot afford a one-on-one consultancy. This manual includes all the relevant information obtained from several EU documents, which will save you hours of getting lost in the hundreds of pages of extensive and often unclear text provided by EU, in trying to search for useful information and figuring what exactly are the formal requirements for applicants. But the main value of the manual lies in the personal experience and insights from proposal evaluators and SME instrument winners. The manual will guide you through the process of building your idea and writing a winning proposal for the project with maximum impact, based on the on best practices experience.
